In The Loop, stars funny men Steve Coogan, Tom Hollander and The Sopranos James Gandolfini. It is a political comedy based on the relationship between British and US counterparts discussing the politics of war. The satire explores the diplomatic relations between trans-Atlantic spin doctors. It only takes one off hand comment to create a whirlwind of controversy creating epidemic conflict. Director Armando Iannucci will no doubt be honored, come award season for this brilliant bureaucratic satire.
